I was looking through some of Sunny’s photos and I thought the ones she had from India were really cool! This photo amazed me with the colors, the jewels and especially the henna! My friends came back from the beach this summer with a henna sun drawn on their hands and I was really impressed with how good it looked…until I saw this photo! In India its tradition to have henna for celebrations, festivals, and weddings. How cool is that?
Hey everyone. This photo was taken at this years 19th annual Screwpile Lighthouse Regatta at Solomons Island. Sunny was the photographer during a day race on the boat Pegasus which finished 7th in their class. The tricky part was keeping the camera dry, staying out of the crew’s way and not going over board! Sailing has always intrigued Sunny whether being a crew member and working or just relaxing with a cold beer and simply enjoying the seascape!
