Its been, and still is an unbelievable odyssey combining the travel business with professional photography for a career. I got started taking a few black and white photography classes undergrad at Syracuse University. I worked in the financial field for a few years  before I took the first step into opening Studio 19 Photography. I enjoy taking pictures of people in their environment and abstract designs found in nature and ordinary subjects. My aim in travel for my clients is to present not only unparalleled wildlife encounters, but also unique insight and knowledge as to the ways and workings of the land, the people, the culture and the environment of each expedition. Being a photographer  fine tunes my senses. When traveling they seem to be on overload, but I use them to narrow in and anticipate, if you will, to help me capture a picture at an exact moment. I am able to calculate the perfect angle, lighting, texture, design and depth of field using my  Nikon equipment. For me, travel and photography are one.   I have my summer side kick Hayley Dodds with me and we will be blogging about the photos, travel experiences and creativity. So go head, start following me!
